1st NEW TEACHERS CONFERENCE
The Mique International Conference and Event Planners will conduct its 1st New Teachers Conference entitled, “Unlocking Principles, Strategies and People for Effective Performance.” on September 10, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia Compound, Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard, Pasay City.
This event was organized to help new and beginning teachers with (5) years experience or less and their problems during their first few years in the classroom. There are alarming number of education graduates who drop out of the classroom in their first few years of teaching. It is high time to give them the support they badly need to stay in the profession and grow to become master teachers which the students badly need.
This conference will be featuring talks from education experts on the following topics:
a. Classroom Management: Unlocking the Secrets of Very Successful Classroom;
b. Understanding the 21st Century Learner: Weaving Technology in the Teaching;
c. Engaging Students: The Art of Creative Instruction;
d. Professional Growth: Unlocking Career Development Paths in Teaching;
e. Teacher Wellness: Take Care of You; and
f. Understanding the Importance of Assessment in Understanding by Design (UbD).
The elementary and secondary school teachers from both public and private schools are invited to attend this activity.
A registration fee of Six Hundred Pesos (PhP600.00) will be charged to each participant which covers a seat in the event, conference materials, a CD copy of the presentations during the seminar and a personalized certificate. A special fee of Four Hundred Fifty Pesos (PhP450.00) will be charged to each public school teacher.
